"Reinventing Elvis" tells the story of the drama behind the scenes of the '68 Comeback Special, a pivotal moment in his career that turned Elvis Presley into the King. Collaborating with director John Schienfeld, we were brought in to create the opening titles and several animated sequences throughout the film. The graphic look echoes the bold simplicity of the Comeback Special set and the minimalist graphic design of the era, making use of silhouettes, negative space, and a striking red and black color palette to create an iconic look that pays homage to this historic performance by Elvis.
