Facebook and Instagram held a massive virtual graduation event, titled “#Graduation2020: Facebook and Instagram Celebrate the Class of 2020”, to honor all the high school and college graduates stuck at home during the pandemic. We were brought in to design a comprehensive graphics package for the 2 hour live stream that would list over 30,000 schools and feature 70 celebrity guests. The list of graphics we created was deep, including custom sets of animations for each of the 50 states, but the bold emoji-packed look and choppy animation style made this project super fun to design and animate.
